The successful candidate will interface with hardware, software, and firmware engineering teams to solve problems, improve designs, and ensure that production equipment meets stringent time and quality demands. The ideal candidate must display creativity, rigor, resourcefulness, as well as excellent organizational skills. If this is you, we would love to hear from you! Main Responsibilities <ul><li>Design, validate, implement &amp; automate high quality testing solutions for home energy stations, involving electronics, power, and electrical safety. </li><li>Establish production testing specifications for feasibility and scalability; hold periodic test review meetings with project teams and create required documents and test reports. </li><li>Provide high-reactivity support to production to resolve test equipment/script failures; collaborate with manufacturing/quality engineers on resolving complex production issues. </li><li>Develop, debug, implement and support test scripts to automate production functional tests. </li><li>Integrate data acquisition/dashboarding/test commands with dcbel tools and databases. </li><li>Ensure test data is collected and maintained systematically for further analysis in a welldefined database platform. </li><li>Specify testing equipment and define regular maintenance/calibration schedule in collaboration with manufacturing engineering and automation. </li><li>Hands-on skills to design, build, and bring up test benches is an asset. </li></ul>Key Requirements <ul><li>Degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, or relevant field. </li><li>Be legally authorized to work as an Engineer or is eligible to be registered as an Engineer in Québec, or has an equivalent of an Engineering license recognized by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board. </li><li>5+ years of relevant professional experience as a hands-on Manufacturing Software Engineer or in a similar role that involves electronics.   </li><li>Experience with coding in LabVIEW, Python, and C/C++.</li><li>Experience in developing test sequences and software tools like NI TestStand.</li><li>Experience implementing automated tests, developing UI, and integrating hardware components.</li><li>Experience with DAQ (data acquisition systems), Signal Processing, and instrumentation.</li><li>Great troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.</li></ul> Bonus skills <ul><li>Bilingual English and French.</li></ul> Profile<ul><li>Strong entrepreneurial mindset—seeing opportunities where others see obstacles and taking smart initiative to move ideas forward.</li><li>Results‑oriented, turning goals into clear plans and measurable outcomes.</li><li>Strong EQ: you listen deeply, communicate with clarity, build trust across diverse teams, and navigate change with empathy and resilience</li></ul> What's in it for you<ul><li>Be part of a company that is backed by numerous globally respected investors and has world-changing patents in an industry changing for the first time in history.</li><li>Grow your professional experience amongst blue chip partners and a close-knit team of committed and experienced energy experts who deeply care about the work they do.</li><li>Employees are offered a full benefits plan including health insurance, virtual healthcare, employee stock option plan, sustainability initiatives, and flexible working hours.
