<div>Job Type</div><div>Full-time</div><p> We are seeking an experienced and dependable <strong>Diesel Mechanic</strong> to join our team on <strong>2nd shift</strong>. In this role, you will perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of heavy-duty trucks and equipment in a fast-paced environment.  </p><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Diagnose and repair Class 8 heavy-duty diesel trucks </li><li>Perform preventive maintenance (PM) services on rear loaders, front loaders, roll-offs, tractors, and box trucks </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems </li><li>Diagnose and repair equipment including forklifts, skid steers, and wheel loaders </li><li>Complete truck overhauls and rebuilds of retired units </li><li>Perform welding and metal fabrication as needed (welding experience preferred but not required) </li><li>Assist with general asset maintenance as required </li><li>Occasionally respond to road calls for on-site repairs </li><li>Accurately complete and review maintenance paperwork </li><li>Ensure all work is performed in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong> </p><ul><li>2–5 years of truck repair experience </li><li>Experience working with Mack, Kenworth, and Peterbilt trucks </li><li>Skilled in diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and ABS systems </li><li>Must have own tools </li><li>CDL Class B license is a plus </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and analyze component parts and systems on trucks and tractor-trailers </li><li>Welding experience preferred </li><li>Must be able to work the <strong>afternoon / 2nd shift</strong> </li><li>Comfortable working in all weather conditions and in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs. or more </li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude </li><li>Able to work under moderate supervision and follow through on tasks </li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p>Each full-time eligible employee receives a competitive total compensation package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Vol Life Insurance and STD.
