We are looking to hire a talented SOLAR PROJECT MANAGER to support our De Pere, WI office.  The primary responsibility of this position is the successful estimating, supervision and management of construction activities, in the safest possible way, for multi-million-dollar solar projects. This position can be worked remotely. Travel to project sites on a regular basis is required. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:<ul style="margin-bottom:11px;"><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Perform estimating and solicit pricing from subcontractors, material and equipment vendors.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Assemble and submit proposals with requested documents.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Review and understand the terms and conditions of project contracts.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Provide key input into the development and execution of all subcontracts and vendor purchase orders.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Compile project tool and equipment needs.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Successfully manage assigned projects including budgets, schedules, resource and workforce allocation, communication and client satisfaction.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Timely decisions and direction to ensure project success.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">The proper utilization/management of Company-Owned and rented equipment.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Direct supervision of all project assigned supervisory and other management office/staff.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Provide appropriate guidance and input into the development and updating of all project schedules, job cost and other management reports.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Assemble payment requisitions.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Review and approve all project purchases.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Review and approve all key job site construction methods and practices.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Prepare for timely submission all necessary monthly job cost and other financial reports.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Support all Company training and employee development activities and provide appropriate input and feedback, as necessary.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Visit and walk project sites on a regular basis and provide feedback/input/follow-up, as required.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Ensure that all work meets the highest standards of workmanship, and that all work and materials are in compliance with project specifications and drawings.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Manage all job close out procedures to ensure project and Company requirements are met.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Assume additional duties and responsibilities as delegated by the management team.  </li></ul>SKILLS:<ul style="margin-bottom:11px;"><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Ability to effectively communicate at all levels.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Utilize innovative and effective leadership techniques to maximize employee and project performance.</li></ul>----------------------------------------------------------------------------- BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:<ul style="margin-bottom:11px;"><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or experience as a Superintendent for an Electrical Contractor.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Minimum of 6 years of Project Leadership experience successfully completing multi-million-dollar electrical construction projects.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px;">Have a good working knowledge of computers and basic software applications.</li></ul> OUR MISSION: Sargent Electric Company strives to provide project management excellence and exceptional workmanship on every job.  Our employees and our reputation are the cornerstone of our business.  We are a team of highly skilled professionals with an unwavering commitment to safety.  We perform every job knowing that our work is part of the lives of our people and our communities.
