The role will also support compensation projects and initiatives as needed.You will contribute to our team by:<div><ul><li>Design, implement, and evolve pension, benefits, and disability management programs to support talent attraction, retention, and employee well-being.</li><li>Ensure adherence to federal/provincial and U.S. regulations; maintain governance frameworks and reporting for leadership and board committees.</li><li>Manage relationships with consultants, brokers, and third-party administrators; lead RFPs, contract negotiations, and monitor service performance.</li><li>Provide guidance and training to HR teams; support complex case resolution and prepare materials for Pension Committee and Board presentations.</li><li>Oversee short-term and long-term disability programs; develop return-to-work strategies and monitor trends to improve employee experience.</li><li>Lead or support cross-functional Total Rewards projects, including plan redesigns, system implementations, and M&amp;A integrations.</li><li>Monitor enrollment, utilization, and cost trends; analyze claims and provider performance; support surveys and reporting requirements.</li><li>Drive communication initiatives and maintain accurate program information on internal platforms; enhance Workday functionality for Total Rewards processes.</li></ul>What you will bring to the role:   <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; CEBS or similar designation preferred.</li><li>7+ years of progressive experience in pension and benefits, ideally in a dual-country (Canada/U.S.) context</li><li>Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. pension legislation, benefits regulations, and disability compliance requirements.</li><li>Previous experience in compensation would be an asset</li><li>Proven experience in governance, reporting, and vendor management.</li><li>Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.</li><li>Strong analytical, financial modeling, and Excel skills</li><li>Exceptional written communication skills, including experience preparing materials for Board Committees</li><li>Ability to operate with a high degree of independence and professionalism.</li></ul></div>Additional Details:This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.In order to be considered for this role you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
