This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, cost-effective and future-ready fleet operation that supports both daily Service delivery and long-term business growth.What You’ll Be Responsible For<ul><li>Developing and delivering the fleet strategy, including growth, replacement and lifecycle planning</li><li>Ensuring full legal compliance with DVSA and Operator’s Licence requirements</li><li>Overseeing vehicle maintenance, roadworthiness and inspections</li><li>Leading driver compliance, safety, training and performance management</li><li>Managing fuel, telematics and operational efficiency through data-led decision making</li><li>Owning the fleet budget, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and supplier contracts</li><li>Driving sustainability initiatives, including low-emission and EV transition</li><li>Producing performance, compliance and cost reports for senior leadership</li><li>Managing external suppliers and service partners</li><li>Leading risk management, health &amp; safety and incident response</li><li>Acting as key liaison with regulators, insurers, auditors and internal stakeholders</li></ul>What We’re Looking For<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Transport, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li>CPC (or equivalent)</li><li>Proven experience in fleet or transport management within a multi-site operation</li><li>Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and Operator’s Licence compliance</li><li>Experience managing budgets, TCO and supplier contracts</li><li>Confident use of telematics, fuel systems and fleet analytics</li><li>Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills</li><li>A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong safety and compliance mindset</li></ul><h3></h3><h3>#LI-Hybrid</h3><h3>#LI-CDY</h3>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
