Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking an Infrastructure Risk Consulting and Decision Support Practice Lead based at our Mississauga Office, Ontario. This position is to fill an existing position within the team.This role requires a hands-on professional who can lead a team while working directly on projects. We need someone who is driven to deliver outstanding work for clients and whose industry contacts are key to bringing in new business.You must be an expert in risk consulting with excellent project management skills, and able to provide valuable local market insights. Major Responsibilities<ul><li>Responsible for the overall development and implementation of standardized Risk Management activities.</li><li>Responsible for putting a roadmap for the unit’s business planning and execution</li><li>Leading reviews of program/project issues, and developing risk mitigation strategies and claims avoidance policy, strategy, and objectives.</li><li>Leading the execution and maintenance of Risk Management service framework.</li><li>Pursuing and building relationships across business, gathering intelligence, and bringing insight about the wider local capital project landscape.</li></ul>In this role the individual should be able to review and guide the work of junior and senior risk analysts including but not limited to:<ul><li>Act as a business consultant to identify the core requirements of the data construction risk management landscape and act as a trusted advisor.</li><li>Act as an advisor for projects in the area of Construction Risk Management, including : when/how to do a formal risk assessment, develop and organize risk mitigation plans and develop tracking mechanisms to controls effectiveness of risk management.</li><li>Developing and undertaking advanced Quantitative Risk Analysis including Cost, Schedule and integrated Cost and Schedule analyses, to enable robust forecasting and tracking of risk exposure.</li><li>Assist in the execution and maintenance of Construction risk management service framework, including data use case execution that reflect project/program direction and opportunities</li><li>Conduct constructability reviews, schedule critical reviews, and scrutinize cost estimates, understanding areas of uncertainty</li><li>Facilitation of workshops in the client’s environment, using advanced methods for risk, value and lessons learnt processes.</li><li>Assist in the development of ad hoc Construction risk communiques supporting decision points in the project.</li><li>Review project document, analyze project data and develop Construction Risk Registers.</li><li>Work with project team on Construction risk allocation and risk transfer mechanisms through either design specifications or language in the procurement documents.</li><li>Prepare Construction Risk Assessment presentations and prepare presentations of the projects risk profile.</li><li>Promote, set up and implement a risk management system, making it appropriate to the needs of the project through the project lifecycle.</li><li>Delivery of risk management services to the client’s Development department as part of capital project delivery in compliance with client’s governance, processes and objectives.</li><li>Development and implementation of project risk management plans.</li><li>Production of periodic risk reporting including profiled risk expenditure, impacted risk / drawdown and risk exposure changes.</li></ul>
