The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS Lambda, REST API development, and Node.js, and will have a strong background in financial or accounting data environments. In this senior-level role, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions and driving innovation across our data warehouse and reporting platforms. </div><div> </div><div><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></div><div><ul><li>Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake, AWS Lambda, and Node.js to support financial and accounting reporting needs. </li><li>Build, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless data integration and delivery across various financial systems. </li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot existing business intelligence (BI) applications, frameworks, and reports to ensure data availability and reliability for end users. </li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement dashboards, reports, and solutions that address business needs. </li><li>Analyze and cleanse large datasets to ensure data accuracy, quality, and reconciliation to the original sources; perform quality assurance testing prior to data/report release. </li><li>Develop, maintain, and deliver comprehensive technical documentation related to data pipelines, ETL processes, scheduled jobs, dataset creation, and reporting solutions. </li><li>Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. </li><li>Identify and troubleshoot data anomalies, performance bottlenecks, and system issues in a timely manner. </li></ul></div><div><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.</li></ul></div><div><p><strong>Desired Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong proficiency in SQL programming, with demonstrated experience in query optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning. </li><li>Advanced skills in Node.js and Python for cross team collaboration. </li><li>Extensive experience with REST API development. </li><li>Proven ability to analyze complex datasets, ensure data quality, and deliver reconciled, validated results. </li><li>Experience in gathering and documenting cross-functional requirements, translating business needs into technical deliverables. </li><li>Experience with Tableau is a plus. </li><li>Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. </li><li>Attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to data privacy and security best practices. </li><li>Background in financial or accounting analytics, reporting, or regulatory environments. </li><li>Experience with additional database technologies such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB features. </li><li>Knowledge of indexing, high-performance data concepts, and cloud-based data architectures. </li></ul></div><div>For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $150,000.00 USD to  $170,00.00 USD.
