<div>GFL Environmental is looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Estevan, SKThe Operations Supervisor will be responsible for developing a thorough understanding of the Company’s transportation requirements and patterns. They will review and process day to day operations that are required by the location.What You’ll Do:<ul><li>Providing direct supervision of all drivers, ensuring ongoing training requirements, discipline and procedural implementation</li><li>Working alongside the Operations Manager and the Recruiting Team to maintain adequate staffing levels, including participating in interviews and pre-employment Road Tests</li><li>Working alongside the Dispatcher daily to ensure routes are completed efficiently and accurately</li><li>Conducting ongoing observational behaviour assessments/driver training to uncover any performance issues, and creating an action plan to correct</li><li>Tracking ongoing service/driver issues and documenting any discipline required</li><li>Attaining all the necessary information regarding any issues by maintaining courteous, prompt and efficient customer relations.</li><li>Organizing and approving payroll and driver vacation requests</li><li>Ensuring a healthy and safe working environment for all workers, and reporting any related issues immediately to the Operations Manager</li><li>Ensuring company policy, systems, and industry related training is delivered to all drivers as needed</li><li>Performing Accident Investigations when company vehicles are involved in traffic accidents or incidents</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul> What We’re Looking For:<ul><li>2+ years of supervisory experience, ideally with a large team</li><li>Preference will be given to those candidates with experience working with Residential or Commercial collection, transportation, and/or Operations.</li><li>General understanding of, WHMIS and the Highway Traffic Act.</li><li>Proficiency with performing pre- and post-trip inspections, as well as accident investigations</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Capability to plan, prioritize and execute against tight timelines.</li><li>Intermediate database, spreadsheet, and word processing skills within a Microsoft environment</li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instruction and procedure manuals, routing reports and correspondence.</li><li>Willing to work flexible hours.</li></ul></div>  We thank you for your interest.
