This critical office-based role provides administrative and operational support to the Plant Scheduler and other office personnel. You’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth production activities, maintaining accurate documentation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.Schedule &amp; Pay:<ul><li>Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm</li><li>Pay: $26.00/hr</li></ul>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Collaborate with the Plant Scheduler to develop and optimize production schedules using sales forecasts, customer service insights, plant performance metrics, and workforce availability.</li><li>Monitor and report scrap material data to support inventory accuracy and cost-control initiatives.</li><li>Maintain preventive maintenance documentation and service records for all plant machinery and equipment in coordination with the Plant Engineer.</li><li>Enforce document control protocols to ensure compliance and accuracy.</li><li>Support plant programs that drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.</li><li>Facilitate collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, and Plant Management to align scheduling and inventory requirements.</li><li>Track workforce capacity and labor hours for production planning insights.</li><li>Build advanced Excel reports (pivot tables, formulas, charts).</li><li>Assist with procurement and inventory management tasks.</li><li>Identify and resolve data discrepancies related to inventory and schedules.</li><li>Communicate effectively across departments to align production plans.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills strongly preferred.</li><li>Technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly.</li><li>Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and purchasing processes (preferred).</li><li>Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems (preferred).</li></ul>Competencies:<ul><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.</li><li>Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal).</li><li>Proactive problem-solving and process improvement mindset.</li><li>Strategic task prioritization to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.</li></ul>Key Relationships:<ul><li>Frequent interaction with Plant Scheduler, Plant Engineer, Sales, Customer Service, and Plant Management.</li><li>Occasional collaboration with Purchasing and Inventory Control teams.</li></ul>Working Conditions:<ul><li>Office-based with long periods of sitting.</li><li>Occasional exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.</li><li>Minimal exposure to hazards such as chemicals, moving machinery, repetitive motion, excessive noise, and powered industrial vehicles.</li><li>Required use of protective equipment (eyewear, gloves, hearing protection, respiratory protection, safety shoes, hard hat, etc.) when visiting the plant floor.</li><li>Work may involve changing priorities, deadlines, quotas, and conflicting demands.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>401K plan with company match</li><li>Health, Dental, and Vision coverage options</li><li>Vacation and holidays</li><li>Plant bonus program</li><li>Set schedule with bi-weekly pay</li><li>Safety equipment provided (glasses, ear plugs)</li><li>COBRA reimbursement while transitioning to IPEX benefits</li></ul>Equal Opportunity &amp; Accessibility:IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
