The opportunity to join such an early&nbsp; stage, yet risk-reduced, software company in growth mode is a rare opportunity. &nbsp; &nbsp; Job Description &nbsp; Nira is hiring Transmission Planning Engineers to join the product team comprised of&nbsp; half planning engineers and half software engineers. In this role, you’ll work with other&nbsp; planning engineers and software engineers to build products that help renewable&nbsp; developers put together successful project portfolios. Specifically, you’ll: &nbsp; • Focus on deepening and expanding your transmission planning and generator&nbsp; interconnection studies subject matter expertise.&nbsp; • Work with software engineers and product managers to codify your domain&nbsp; knowledge into Nira’s software products’ backend.&nbsp; • Support the full product life cycle including product ideation, research and&nbsp; development, coding, sales support, customer support, and product&nbsp; maintenance.&nbsp; &nbsp; Who We’re Looking For &nbsp; This could be a great fit if:&nbsp; • You have experience with generation interconnection related studies. You&nbsp; have 2+ years of hands on experience with tools like TARA, PSS/E, Power&nbsp; World, Python, etc.; and you already have a sense of what data renewable&nbsp; developers need to build a portfolio of successful projects.&nbsp; • You’re motivated by having ownership in your work. You take initiative on&nbsp; projects and have a strong preference to be a trailblazer. Or when the "trail" is&nbsp; given to you, you are motivated to challenge it and ensure it's the best trail every&nbsp; step of the way.&nbsp; • You’re ready to roll up your sleeves for the team, and no task is beneath&nbsp; you.
