Ensure engineering processes are followed as well as close collaboration with other Engineering teams, Sales and Project Management.How you’ll make an impact:<ul><li>Performing and taking responsibility for power system modelling and simulation studies incorporating FACTS technology.</li><li>Supporting system design of power electronic converter systems (FACTS) such as Static Compensators (STATCOMs), Static Frequency Converters (SFC) and others during tender stage and continued during project execution with system and performance studies.</li><li>Modelling of power systems, simulations (e.g., load flow, RMS type simulations, transient EMTP type simulations, harmonics, …), system optimizations as well as basic control concept definitions and documentation of modelling and studies, belong to your activities.</li><li>Supporting Model development and validating with real site measurements or other reference measurements.</li><li>Ensuring knowhow within System Engineering is continuously shared, updated, expanded, and maintained within team. </li><li>Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.</li><li>Living Hitachi Energy’s core values safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.</li></ul>Your background:<ul><li>PhD in Power Systems and/or with relevant work experience of 1-3 years, or M.
