This role will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and logistics teams to execute our product roadmap. The primary scope of this role is general hardware manufacturing.What You'll Do<ul style=""><li>Create and run request for proposals (RFP).</li><li>Develop should-cost models.</li><li>Negotiate pricing and commercial terms and conditions with suppliers.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships.</li><li>Work directly with key suppliers to develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies for existing and new products.</li><li>Ensure that suppliers are prepared to support all prototype builds to support rapid product development, ramp up, and mass production.</li><li>Present recommendations on contract award, cost reviews, cost reduction strategies and critical supply issues.</li></ul>What You'll Bring<ul style=""><li>3+ years sourcing experience in a similar role.</li><li>Strong excel and spreadsheet skills.</li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Flexible mindset and temperament.</li><li>Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
