The Functional Analyst will join the Oracle EBS Support team alongside other Functional and Technical analysts and will provide the business with day to day support, solutions to problems and the introduction of new functionality.Reporting to the Oracle EBS Support Team manager, the Functional Analyst will provide expert support to their stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Procurement and IT whilst collaborating with other team members and IT specialists. The role requires a deep understanding of the Oracle Financials modules as well as Purchasing and Projects. Attention to detail and pro-activeness are key traits of this role to ensure that delivery is on time and to a high quality.  Role Responsibilities<ul><li>Supporting APAC Timezone</li><li>Provide functional support for TPICAP’s Oracle E-Business Suite v 12.2.11 and help the support team deliver projects and initiatives</li><li>Provide first line support for problem tickets created from Service Now by the business</li><li>Deliver first class support to the business community when responding to and resolving problem tickets </li><li>Elicit and understand functional and non-functional requirements to design and deliver software solutions</li><li>Identify complex problems and review related information to evaluate and develop solutions</li><li>Offer and provide support and assistance to colleagues and provide system knowledge sharing where appropriate</li><li>Produce detailed and thorough documentation in relation to development processes and tasks</li><li>Support the various banking platforms used within TPICAP</li><li>Perform ad-hoc duties when required</li></ul>Experience / Competences<ul><li>Strong functional understanding of the Oracle E-Business suite across Financials, Purchasing and Projects/OTL modules</li><li>Basic/good technical understanding of the Oracle E-business suite</li><li>Good understanding of Finance process flows and double entry accounting principals</li><li>5 + years’ experience as Oracle EBS Functional Analyst or Consultant</li><li>Oracle EBS R12 functional support experience in: iProc, iExp  PO, AP, AR, GL, FA, PA, OTL</li><li>Experience of More4apps, GL Wand and Hubble would be beneficial</li><li>Experience of change projects/programmes preferably with some project management experience.</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education</li><li>Part-Qualified Accountant (e.g  AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA or through experience)</li><li>Basic SQL knowledge</li><li>Understanding of project management methodology</li><li>MS Office expert user</li><li>Ability to prioritise workload based on multiple business drivers</li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and backlog management tools (e.g., JIRA)</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to write clear and concise documentation</li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.  </li></ul>Job Band &amp; Level<ul><li>Professional, 4</li></ul>#LI-Hybrid #LI-ASONot The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
