Job Description:Full Stack Software Engineer Location: USA Fremont – Hybrid About the Role We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with deep experience in Golang, Python, Angular, cloud services, and Containerized Development to join our growing engineering team. As a software engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product management, DevOps, and QA—to build end-to-end applications and services that power our next-generation platforms. You’ll be responsible for the entire development lifecycle: from architecture and design to deployment and maintenance.  Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end scientific computing applications using Golang, Python, and Angular. </li></ul><ul><li>Solid understanding of at least one modern SQL-based database, e.g. Postgres. </li></ul><ul><li>Architect scalable, cloud-native applications leveraging platforms on Azure. </li></ul><ul><li>Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and modern CI/CD pipelines. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications. </li></ul><ul><li>Optimize performance and ensure the reliability, security, and maintainability of services. </li></ul><ul><li>Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and help establish best practices across the engineering team. </li></ul><ul><li>Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain high-quality standards. </li></ul><ul><li>Contribute to architecture discussions, propose innovative solutions, and champion continuous improvement. </li></ul> Required Qualifications <ul><li>A commitment to continuous learning and your own professional development. </li></ul><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). </li></ul><ul><li>3-6 years of experience as a Full Stack or Backend Engineer. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language. Go/Python/TypeScript is preferred. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience with modern web frameworks (Angular preferred). </li></ul><ul><li>Solid experience in building well-documented RESTful APIs and microservices with OpenAPI specifications. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services (Lambda, S3, Cloud Functions, etc.). </li></ul><ul><li>Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes). </li></ul><ul><li>Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases. </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. </li></ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Prior experience in solar energy or PV modeling a big plus. </li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in Angular (v10+ preferred) for developing responsive, user-friendly web applications. </li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools. </li></ul><ul><li>Background in data processing or real-time analytics. </li></ul> Nextpower offers a comprehensive benefits package.
