This role involves developing and implementing quality policies and procedures, managing a team of quality professionals, and ensuring that products meet or exceed customer expectations. The Quality Manager conducts regular audits, reviews quality performance data, and collaborates with other departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include managing quality documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and reporting on quality performance to senior leadership. Responsibilities: Quality Analysis: • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement • Analyze data and make recommendations for process improvements • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations • Collaborate with other departments to establish quality goals and objectives • Develop and maintain quality control documentation and records • Train and mentor team members on quality analysis techniques and processes Quality Control: • Establish and oversee quality control processes and procedures • Conduct inspections and tests on products and materials • Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met • Investigate and resolve customer complaints or quality issues • Communicate with suppliers to ensure quality of incoming materials • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve product quality Team Management: • Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, feedback, and support. • Set goals and KPIs for team members and monitor performance. • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. • Develop and implement training programs to keep team members updated on trends and strategies. Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus. At least 15-18 years of working experience in Quality Assurance and Integrated Management systems. Six Sigma Certification, NDT Level III, Certified Welding Inspector are desirable for the position.</li><li>Proven experience in quality assurance and control within the pump industry.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive quality improvements.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) is desirable.</li><li>Resource Allocation: Allocate personnel, tools, and other resources efficiently to achieve project goals. Balance competing priorities and adapt as needed.</li><li>End-to-end Project Management: Lead improvement projects from initiation to completion.
