As a mid-level, you will lead civil design tasks for projects, delegate to junior civil engineers, and be responsible for accuracy, completeness, and schedule of the tasks you oversee. In this role, you will receive opportunities to increase your technical and leadership skills to grow into a discipline lead or project manager for complex projects.</li><li>Collaborate: With Client and AECOM counterparts for analysis for dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, tunnels, pipelines, flood protection systems, and conveyance facilities.</li><li>Deliver Quality: Oversee and review work produced by others, as well as following all quality control measures to ensure timely and accurate results.</li><li>Mentor: Delegate tasks, direct and oversee the work of others and act as a technical mentor.</li></ul>Additional work includes:<ul><li>Ensure compliance of design with all applicable standards and regulations, providing the seal and signature of the professional engineer.</li><li>Perform peer reviews and conduct site visits at active construction sites to examine field conditions, site work that is under construction, and as built conditions.</li><li>Resident Engineer during construction, if you have interest. These are usually assignments that last more than 6 months and require travel. Interest in this type of work is not required.
