AECOM's Water business line is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with strong site civil design expertise to join our Water/Wastewater/Conveyance team in Orange, CA. This is an opportunity to lead multidisciplinary projects that shape critical water infrastructure across the United States—including treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in grading, drainage, and pipeline design and will bring creative solutions and leadership to our growing Southern California water practice.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and oversee site civil design efforts for water and wastewater infrastructure facilities, including rough and precise grading, drainage, paving, and site utilities.</li><li>Manage and perform pipeline design for water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance systems (gravity and pressure).</li><li>Coordinate civil site design with architectural, structural, and process engineering teams to ensure constructible, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions.</li><li>Conduct field visits, condition assessments, and constructability reviews to confirm design intent and compliance with client standards and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Prepare and review design plans and specifications for civil site work and pipelines.</li><li>Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and QA/QC support to junior engineers and CAD designers.</li><li>Participate in client meetings and internal coordination with project managers to align design objectives and deliverables.</li><li>Prepare clear, concise technical memoranda, design reports, and design calculations.</li><li>Stay current on industry standards, codes, and innovative technologies in site civil and water infrastructure design.</li></ul>
