AECOM is seeking a Senior Power Electrical Engineer - Medium &amp; Low Voltage Distribution to be based in Orange, CA.The responsibilities of this role also include, but may not be limited to, the following:<ul><li>Responsible for electrical engineering work in power distribution design.</li><li>Working with Project Engineers and Project Managers on developing workload forecasts, design schedules, and budgets for electrical engineering work activities.</li><li>Functioning as the “Engineer of Record” on projects.</li><li>Performing Power system studies (load flow, short circuit, protective coordination, arc flash analysis).</li><li>Providing technical support for business development activities such as developing proposals.</li><li>Single line diagram development, medium voltage switch gear and low voltage switchboard design and specifications.</li><li>Determine ampacity and develop Feeder and Cable Schedules.</li><li>Substation and transformer design and specification.</li><li>Protective relay and metering one line / three-line diagrams.</li><li>Panel Schedules.</li><li>Equipment layouts and sectional views.</li><li>Connection Diagrams.</li><li>Bill of Materials.</li><li>Developing construction and equipment specifications.</li><li>Supporting projects during construction, start-up, and commissioning.</li><li>Grounding layouts.</li><li>Lightening protection.</li><li>Reviewing engineering work performed by peers.</li><li>Attending client meetings.</li><li>Client and site field visits.</li><li>Conducting arc-flash hazard calculations to determine arc-flash boundaries and required PPE.</li></ul>
