In this role, you’ll partner with business stakeholders to understand actual results, compare performance to plan, support the company’s budgeting processes, and build clear, compelling dashboards and data visualizations that help leadership make informed decisions.You are a data-driven problem solver with strong analytical instincts and a passion for transforming complex information into actionable insights.<h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul style=""><li>Support the annual budgeting cycle by gathering departmental inputs, validating assumptions, and helping ensure alignment with company goals. </li><li>Conduct monthly Plan-to-Actual analyses for operating expenses (OpEx) and capital expenditures (CapEx); prepare materials for monthly business reviews. </li><li>Maintain and improve rolling forecasts by collaborating with business partners and updating models to reflect current trends and conditions. </li><li>Perform detailed financial analyses on business performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities. </li><li>Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards and automated reporting tools using Excel and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). </li><li>Assist in improving financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency. </li><li>Review purchase requisitions to ensure alignment with budget and spending policies. </li><li>Create clear and visually effective charts, dashboards, and presentations for internal leadership, board meetings, and investor discussions. </li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul style=""><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. </li><li>3–4 years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&amp;A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Consulting, or a related analytical role. </li><li>Strong Excel/Python skills (lookups, pivots, logical formulas, sumifs, index-match, etc.). </li><li>Ability to reconcile and synthesize data from multiple sources with accuracy and attention to detail. </li><li>Experience structuring datasets and building clear, compelling data visualizations (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio). </li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders across the organization. </li><li>Proficiency with PowerPoint and/or Google Slides.</li><li>Strong understanding of product development processes, BOM structure, and hardware manufacturing fundamentals. </li><li>Positive, collaborative attitude and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Interest in working in a start-up environment with evolving priorities.</li><li>Experience working with supply chain, procurement, and contract manufacturers.</li><li>Experience working in hardware or consumer electronics companies. </li></ul><h2>Bonus Qualifications</h2><ul style=""><li>Experience with SQL, Alteryx, or other data transformation or coding languages (Python, VBA, etc.). </li><li>Advanced experience with Tableau or Power BI. </li><li>Experience implementing or optimizing financial systems or BI tools.</li></ul>
