Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a Technical Director – Structural Engineering to join our Melbourne team in a key strategic leadership position. This role will lead our growing Structural Engineering team ensuring the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary projects across a variety of sectors, driving technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the structural business, fostering strong client relationships, and empowering a high-performing team to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients.How you’ll make a difference:<ul><li>Lead the execution of the sector-specific strategy, driving profitable growth through pursuit leadership, client engagement and market differentiation across multi-disciplinary projects.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners and stakeholders, promoting AECOM’s capability and technical excellence across the market.</li><li>Provide project and people leadership, direction and support to the team through effective recruitment, mentoring, succession planning and a focus on wellbeing, inclusion and professional development.</li><li>Ensure delivery excellence and governance across all projects, maintaining AECOM’s high standards of quality, safety, digital innovation and client satisfaction.</li><li>Champion collaboration and operational efficiency by leveraging enterprise workshare, implementing change initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.</li></ul>
