Thanks for your interest in joining our team!   </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key statistics: </strong></p><ul> <li>950+ Consultants </li> <li>640+ Ph.D.s </li> <li>90+ Disciplines </li> <li>30+ Offices globally </li></ul><h2>Our Opportunity</h2><p>We are currently seeking a<strong> Ecotoxicologist </strong>for our <strong>Chemical Regulation and Food Safety Practice </strong>in Harrogate (UK), Nottingham (UK), London (UK), Dublin (IE), Mannheim (DE) or Basel (SW) offices; homeworking will also be considered.</p><h2>You will be responsible for</h2><ul> <li>Conducting environmental risk assessments for plant protection products as required by EU legislation (Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009)</li> <li>Providing advice to clients on plant protection product ecotoxicology/environmental risk assessment issues</li> <li>Summarising and interpreting data, including study reports and published literature in the area of ecotoxicology, drawing sound scientific and regulatory conclusions</li> <li>Data gap analysis, developing testing strategies and monitoring ecotoxicology studies</li> <li>Providing verbal and/or written inputs to multi-disciplinary project teams and contributing to providing high level strategic advice to clients and high-quality outputs</li></ul><h2>You will have the following skills and qualifications</h2><ul> <li>MSc. degree or equivalent in relevant discipline (e.g. biology, environmental science)</li> <li>Experience of completing environmental risk assessments under EU plant protection product legislation (e.g. Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009).
