Our goal is to provide one-stop purchasing capability, world-wide customer support, and the technical expertise to solve our customer's toughest challenges.  A Sea of Solutions…..One Supplier. For more information, visit our website at <a href="http://www.teledynemarine.com/">www.teledynemarine.com</a>.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>The main purpose of this position is to function as support to the Project Engineering team participating in the design and execution of solutions to meet customers’ requirements.</li><li>Primary tasks may include sustaining engineering activities (continuous improvement of existing products), cost reduction projects, process efficiency analysis, creating designs in CAD and providing input to Drafting.</li><li>Responsibilities include participating in formal Design Reviews and assisting senior engineers with project work related to customer orders.</li><li>Support product Qualification activities as assigned.</li><li>Participate in Failure Analysis activities, and support generation of technical input to FEA (Finite Element Analysis) evaluation.</li><li>Proactively participate in the Project Engineering Team environment and follow the direction and leadership of senior staff.</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>Pursuing a BS degree or equivalent in Mechanical/ Structural or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline</li><li>A strong Engineering aptitude with hands-on capabilities</li></ul>Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:<ul><li>Understanding of general safety practices in high pressure, thermal, and electrical operational and test environments</li><li>Familiarity with basic temperature, pressure, insulation resistance, continuity resistance, mechanical stress/strain</li><li>Functional skills with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar CAD program</li><li>MS Office Suite proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>Good written and oral communication techniques</li></ul>Behavioral Requirements in a Technical Environment:<ul><li>Work effectively as a member of a team through cooperation and group participation</li><li>Ability to handle multiple assigned tasks in high growth, fast paced environment</li><li>Willing and capable of resolving differences with others openly and constructively</li><li>Constructively reacts to feedback from superiors, customers and peers</li><li>Keeps management informed of positive and negative information that would have significant impact on him/her and/or the organization</li><li>Perform to the highest professional and ethical standards in every aspect of the job</li></ul>Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).******************************************What can Teledyne offer YOU?
