We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</div>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead the mechanical design and development of interior / exterior closures</li><li>Create 3D models and technical drawings</li><li>Develop technical specifications and requirements for closures, seals, and mechanical systems</li><li>Perform structural analysis and optimization using FEA tools</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Industrial design, airframe, manufacturing, supply chain, certification, and suppliers</li><li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting program milestones and deadlines</li><li>Ensure designs meet safety regulations</li><li>Support certification activities and documentation</li><li>Participate in design reviews and technical meetings</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent level of experience</li><li>5+ years of mechanical design experience in Aerospace</li><li>Strong 3D CAD skills (Siemens NX preferred)</li><li>Strong knowledge of GD&amp;T and engineering drawings</li><li>Experience with FEA tools and structural analysis</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills</li><li>Strong project management and leadership abilities</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Experience with mass and cost optimization initiatives</li></ul>At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
