At Gridworks, we believe collaboration and accountability fuel our success—and our people are the foundation of everything we build.Roles and Responsibilities:•     Lead and manage all on-site civil construction activities for assigned renewable energy projects.<ul><li>Oversee grading, excavation, trenching, concrete, and foundation work to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards.</li><li>Enforce strict adherence to all OSHA and company safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and safety briefings.</li><li>Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring timely performance and adherence to scope, schedule, and safety standards.</li><li>Monitor daily progress, productivity, and resource allocation, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.</li><li>Collaborate with project management, engineering, and safety teams to resolve field challenges efficiently.</li><li>Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and documentation of materials, manpower, and inspections.</li><li>Develop and communicate three-week look-ahead schedules and participate in project coordination meetings.</li><li>Promote teamwork, mentorship, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across all field operations.</li></ul>Qualifications <h2 style="margin-top:13px;">Qualifications </h2><ul style="margin-bottom:13px;"><li>Minimum 3 years of experience as a Civil Superintendent on heavy civil or utility-scale construction projects.</li><li>Proven ability to manage union civil subcontractors and navigate union work rules.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of trenching, backfilling, and civil support for underground DC and MV cable installation.</li><li>Expertise in grading, excavation, concrete, foundations, and structural work.</li><li>Skilled in reading and interpreting civil drawings and specifications.</li><li>Excellent leadership and communication skills with a focus on collaboration and safety.</li><li>OSHA 30 certification preferred.</li><li style="margin-bottom:13px;">Experience in renewable energy or electrical infrastructure projects a plus.</li></ul><h2 style="margin-top:13px;">Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>Gridworks is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and sustainable workplace.
