In the Development Operations function, the Associate will support Longroad’s development goals through management of Longroad’s project pipeline and through processes that promote organization across the development business.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;Responsibilities&nbsp; Origination<ul><li>Support the origination of long-term structured renewable energy transactions.&nbsp;</li><li>Lead the preparation of written proposals in response to Requests for Proposal (RFP) for renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).</li><li>Develop customer and marketing plans for various segments (e.g. corporate offtakers, utilities, datacenters, etc.).</li><li>Manage and maintain databases to track RFP and proposal status, submitted project pricing, project compliance with PPAs, and other related activities.</li></ul>Development Operations<ul><li>Support the Company’s strategic plan through management, tracking, and reporting of Longroad’s development activities, including the renewable energy project pipeline, project status and schedules.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform market research to identify market opportunities and risks and maintain up to date market information for the broader development team.</li><li>Prepare analyses and presentation materials for management, Investment Committee, and Longroad’s Board of Directors.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in the development and execution of wind, solar, and energy storage development plans.</li></ul>Miscellaneous<ul><li>Create and maintain marketing materials for presentation to customers, partners, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Participate in industry conferences, meetings, and site visits.</li><li>Support M&amp;A activities (e.g. opportunity screening, due diligence, internal approvals).&nbsp;</li></ul> Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree required, preferred fields include economics, business, environmental studies/sciences, or engineering.</li><li>One year of professional work experience, preferably in the energy industry, corporate development, management consulting, banking, or other relevant position.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization in a positive, collaborative manner.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience with proposal and presentation preparation.</li><li>Ability to uphold highest standards of discretion and confidentiality and exercise sound judgment on day-to-day decision-making.</li><li>Flexibility in work hours and responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.</li><li>Ability to work in-person in the Boston Office at least three days per week.</li><li>Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 10%).</li></ul> Desired/Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Two plus years of relevant work experience; renewable energy experience is preferred (but not required).</li><li>Exceptional analytical and quantitative abilities, with a deep understanding of Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Database or CRM management experience.</li></ul> Characteristics Necessary for Success &nbsp;<ul><li>Comfortable with a work environment that is fast paced and changes quickly</li><li>Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams at the same time</li><li>Enthusiastic about the renewable energy industry and willingness to learn/ask questions</li><li>Ability to work within a team with a positive attitude</li><li>Personal accountability and integrity</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Salary/CompensationThe salary range is between $90k-$100k. In addition to base salary, this role includes a corporate bonus.
