The PQS Electromechanical Design (EM) Team is responsible for the design of the PQS Plant and the preparation of PQS Installation Drawings &amp; Documents by developing a 3D Model in Revit. A PQS Electromechanical Design Engineer is continuously aquiring multi-skilled knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Domain, required to deliver design with Safety and Quality.How you’ll make an impact:<ul><li>Review of Tender or Bidding Specification. Plant Modelling in 3D Environment with interface with ACC / BIM360.</li><li>Preparation, Review of FACTS Layout (Yard Arrangement, Buildings, Grounding, Lightning Protection).</li><li>Preparation and Review of Civil Input Information (Foundation, Conduit, Trench, and other Civil Requirements).</li><li>Calculations and Layouts for Grounding, Lightning, Busbar system data, Ampacity, cantilever &amp; Magnetic Field Calculations.</li><li>Preparation and Review of Detailed Steel Drawings (For Manufacturing / Procurement &amp; Installation). Purchasing Steel, Al, Connectors, Switchyard Equipment.</li><li>Coordinate Project Engineering on a range of engineering disciplines e.g. electrical, mechanical, civil, structural engineering.</li><li>Project engineering activities such as planning, risk assessments; coordination of resources (personnel and equipment).</li><li>Ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks.</li><li>Creating work plans and cost estimates; scope, budget and schedule for assignments.</li><li>Interact directly with customers, project management, contractors and supply chain.</li><li>Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.</li><li>Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.</li></ul>Your background:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical / mechanical / civil engineering knowledge for detail design of electrical substation.</li><li>Have minimum work experience of 5 - 8 years in Substation Primary Design (HV / EHV / UHV)</li><li>Self-starter caliber who could own tasks through to completion. Strong attention to detail.</li><li>Knowledge &amp; Experience REVIT or 3D CAD tool. Project / Tender BOQ Estimation &amp; Costing and Budget Control by Design Optimization.</li><li>Inter-departmental Interface Engineering Co-Ordination and Project Co-Ordination.
