AECOM is currently seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join our team of Hydrogeologists and Environmental Engineers to work on: Hydrogeological Assessments, Groundwater Remediation Strategy Implementation, Groundwater Remediation Design, and Groundwater Monitoring at large contaminated industrial sites, and Groundwater Engineering at new development sites. Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, team-oriented professional with a strong technical background and capabilities in Hydrogeology, Groundwater Engineering, Contaminated Site Assessment and Remediation, and Groundwater Modelling.In this role, you will work with our experienced team of Hydrogeologists, Hydrogeological Modelers, Environmental Engineers, and Project Managers in:<ul><li>Apply technical knowledge of site investigation, remediation, and contaminated site regulations to resolve complex environmental problems.</li><li>Designing, planning, implementing, supervising, and interpreting hydrogeological investigations (well installations, groundwater level surveys and sampling, aquifer testing).</li><li>Developing hydrogeological conceptual model and 3D Geological Models using various digital tools and geostatistical software packages.</li><li>Developing numerical groundwater models using MODFLOW, FEFLOW, and other software packages.</li><li>Working closely with environmental scientists and risk assessors in remediation plan procedures.</li><li>Preparing proposals/workplans and managing project budgets, schedules, health and safety, and project staffing.</li><li>Providing Hydrogeological input to environmental assessments of proposed commercial and industrial developments.</li><li>Developing junior staff through ongoing mentoring.</li><li>Travelling as required to meet project needs.</li><li>Liaising with clients and regulators.</li></ul>
