The position will be based out of the Sanford Plant in Debary, FL, and will travel (approximately 40%) to support the fleet.   Under limited guidance, this position directs a team of maintenance specialists, technicians, engineers, and contractors involved in power plant overhauls and maintenance. The individual in this position will lead internal and external resources to execute maintenance work with direct accountability for safety, environment, quality, schedule, and cost. The ideal candidate is expected to apply rigor, discipline, and focus in following standardized processes and procedures, while continuously applying a lean and quality improvement mindset to improve the process. Preferred candidates have strong technical knowledge of power plant equipment and are skilled in understanding and resolving technical issues, including for unplanned scope. The individual in this role will work closely with other Supervisors and Contract Coordinators to develop and implement complex plans for execution of work scope.
