Job Description:Responsibilities:<ul><li>Own the development of multiple power converters to production, spanning from a few hundred watts to several Mega watts, collaborating within a team environment.</li><li>Develop AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC power conversion solutions tailored to NEXTracker’s ecosystem.</li><li>Design and develop digital and analog circuits for power electronics systems, encompassing gate drivers, sensors, switched-mode power supplies, processors, and safety critical functions from inception to completion. Apply expertise in DFM and WCA, to ensure robust and cost-effective designs.</li><li>Design and optimize magnetic components. hands-on experience with EMI filter designs for power converters and compliance testing and thorough knowledge of EMC test standards.</li><li>Work closely with power conversion mechanical engineers to integrate power electronics systems into the full product architectures and optimize thermal management solutions.</li><li>Collaborate with firmware engineers to develop and implement control algorithms and system-level diagnostics.</li><li>Address challenges at scale to achieve industry-leading reliability, efficiency, and performance.</li><li>Support product NPI and product tester development at CM.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field.</li><li>7+ years industry experience with 5+ years of experience in power electronics design and development for mass production, preferably in energy sectors.</li><li>Proven track record of designing and delivering high-performance power electronics systems from concept to mass production.</li><li>Strong understanding of semiconductor devices, magnetic components, and control theory.</li><li>Experience in leading technical teams or mentoring engineers.</li><li>Strong background in capture and PCB layout tools, particularly Altium Designer, to design and develop electrical systems for sustainable energy solutions.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex electrical systems.</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and functions.</li><li>Passion for sustainable energy solutions, with a desire to drive positive change through innovation.</li></ul>At Nextpower, we are driving the global energy transition with an integrated clean energy technology platform that combines intelligent structural, electrical, and digital solutions for utility-scale power plants.
