This role will interact with the Company’s leadership, finance, operations, and technical teams and be accountable for timely delivery of milestones. Your efforts will directly contribute to the organization's success by aligning resources and timelines across the company. Thea Energy’s dynamic team is made up of self-motivated individuals with an excitement for solving complex problems.</div><br><br><h3>Key Responsibility Areas: </h3><ul><li>Manage and grow Thea Energy’s program management, processes, and tools  </li><li>Establish program control processes including schedule and cost baselines, and subsequent change control</li><li>Create and maintain the master schedule for a portfolio of technology development, prototyping, and commercialization programs for the company</li><li>Identify critical path items and manage risks proactively across the company, specifically with engineering, physics, and operations</li><li>Enable cross-functional communication to ensure alignment between physics, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and operations teams</li><li>Develop KPIs to track program performance for schedule, cost, and technical aspects</li><li>Advise in resource planning and allocation discussions</li><li>Drive a culture of accountability and transparency in project execution</li></ul><h3>Ideal Experience &amp; Skillsets: </h3><ul><li>10+ years of relevant work experience in program management within deep tech, energy, or aerospace</li><li>Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field</li><li>Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Experience with complex technical hardware development cycles and developing cost and schedule models for large projects</li><li>Well organized, structured and process driven with a speed &amp; execution mindset</li><li>Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment</li></ul><h3>Company Benefits:  </h3><ul><li>Salary range $155,000-$225,000</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits (e.g. medical/dental/vision)  </li><li>Employee equity stock options  </li><li>20 days PTO</li></ul><br><div>It’s not necessary to meet all of the skillsets outlined above. Stellarators are inherently steady-state, stable magnetic configurations that eliminate potential disruptions, making it an optimal pilot plant architecture. Thea Energy is building off foundational research and technology development that it spun out of Princeton University and Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, where the stellarator was first imagined in 1951.
