He or she will work with the Head of Installation to install PV inverters, commission new equipment, and increase customer satisfaction through quality service and professional behaviour. Key responsibilities:Project Management<ul><li>Developing project plans to execute sales contracts. </li><li>Designing and planning solar power installations.</li><li>Leading the supply chain process including sourcing and ordering parts internationally and locally.</li><li>Conducting quality assurance of technical installations of both Daystar's team as well as the installations of our technical partners.</li><li> Directing, coordinating, and supervising the installations of solar power solutions; and</li><li> Training clients on the operation and optimal utilization of systems</li></ul>General<ul><li>Implement standard operating procedures and HSE standards for solar installation work.</li><li>Develop standard operating procedures and HSE standards for solar installation work.</li><li>Review technological trends in the local and global energy sector.</li><li>Develop and coach technical staff to meet the objectives of the company.</li><li>Assist in market research and identify solar energy projects in Nigeria.</li></ul>Working condition<ul><li>Approximately 30% of time shall be spent in office environments with the remaining time in the field.</li></ul>Requirements1. Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.2. Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in Electrical Engineering roles and managing large scale and industrial projects in the solar industry (preferred) or power industry.3. Professional Membership: Preferably a professional engineer with NSE, COREN and engineering certifications4. Language Proficiency: English.5. Character:<ul> <li>Proven leadership experience </li> <li>Self-motivated and demonstrate a sense of ownership with high level of commitment and the ability to thrive under pressure.</li> <li>Good communication skills and ability to lead and work well in teams.</li> <li>Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and prioritize competing demands, passion for renewable energy.</li> <li>Attention to details and extraordinary oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Willingness to adapt, learn and grow with the company.</li> <li>High level of integrity</li> <li>Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a group.</li> <li>Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and prioritize competing demands, passion for renewable energy.</li> </ul>6.
