In this role you will be responsible for handling incoming sales calls and placing outbound sales calls to customers and prospects. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to listen to customer needs and recommend the appropriate products or services. The Sales Associate will work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets, drive strategic initiatives, and provide exceptional customer service.  This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and an openness to continuously take on new challenges and drive revenue.  The position only requires occasional travel for training, meetings, and development opportunities. WHAT YOU WILL DO <ul><li>Make outbound sales calls to generate new leads, message and sample accounts as well as follow up on sales inquiries/ leads.</li><li>Handle incoming sales calls and inquiries from customers and prospects, providing follow-up and solutions, including referring to the field team.</li><li>Lead virtual educational sales meetings with customers on platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.</li><li>Listen to customer needs and identify opportunities to recommend the appropriate products or services.</li><li>Nurture and maintain relationships with existing customers to promote customer retention and increase sales.</li><li>Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service and support.</li><li>Collaborate with the sales team during regional calls and provide Inside Sales updates.</li><li>Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, execute precall planning, update customer information, and generate sales reports.</li><li>Provide basic WIC education to customers as it relates to Kate Farms products.</li><li>Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and conferences as required.</li><li>Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and goals.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends and participate in regular sales and product training initiatives.</li></ul>WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nutrition, Sales, or a related field preferred.</li><li>Registered Dietitian preferred. </li><li>1-2 years of experience in inside sales, sales or related experience.</li><li>Must be verbally fluent in English, as well as possess excellent grammar skills in both languages.
