Position SummaryManage service shipment process from pulling parts, transacting parts in SAP, packing parts, and shipping parts to all our service and aftermarket customers.  This individual will monitor all aspects of the service shipping process and validate customer portals for successful execution of the process.  Main activities include all areas of our logistic footprint (Plant, Shiloh, &amp; Borg). Key Roles &amp; ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. building.</li><li>Perform any inventory or HU (handling unit) audits to keep all raw and finished goods inventory updated. </li><li>Work with quality teams to maintain service packing/shipping process when it prohibits our shipments from being sent to customers.</li><li>Lead and support continuous improvement projects as requested from service teams.</li><li>Support 5S / Housekeeping activities as required.</li><li>Provide ongoing functional and system support, acting as the first level material support for PC&amp;L when assemblies are needed for packing or being used to make finished assemblies.</li><li>Manage, update, maintain all teams KPI’s.</li><li>Assist material movement for machining and assembly process during times when it is required.</li><li>Accurately and timely enter materials transactional information into SAP and other systems as required.</li><li>Coordinate daily usage control, implement perpetual inventory system as well as FIFO procedures and adequately re-organize accurate ordering supplies processes.</li><li>Perform needed stock adjustments in the SAP systems and communicate as necessary.</li><li>Interact with operational users to answer questions and to ensure that they understand how to use the system to complete their job functions.</li><li>Ability to identify root cause investigation through factual data analysis when customer issues arise.</li><li>Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently and prevent reoccurrence.</li><li>Responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices and standard operating procedures.</li><li>Monitor the transfer of inventory from one location to another.   </li><li>Collaborate with associates/teams to contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, efficient and accurate order completion, and problem resolution. </li><li>Determine flow strategies and partner with PC&amp;L Leadership Team to ensure timely and accurate execution of customer purchase orders.</li><li>Maintain effective communication with team members and management in keeping an efficient, productive environment.   Communicate with PC&amp;L team any necessary inventory changes to systems, schedules, or processes.</li><li>Facilitate development of procedures at local Borg locations that mitigate inventory loss and improve inventory control and periodically travel to the affiliate locations to ensure implementation and compliance of these procedures.</li><li>Perform inventory cycle counts as requested, identify discrepancies, and ensure the corresponding inventory adjustments are completed in the ERP system.</li><li>Use appropriate deviation areas, hold tags, to process defective parts through nonconforming material procedure.</li><li>Adherence to standard work procedures in addition to development and continuous improvement to the standards.</li><li>Assist in the reconciliation of Inventory Cycle Counts as requested. </li><li>Lead, maintain and execute all PC&amp;L department KPI’s (Safety, Internal / External Delivery, Logistics Quality, Cost (Scrap / HPUS), Associate Engagement and Teamwork)</li><li>Validate FIFO standards throughout all storage areas and material flow points.</li><li>Wear all required PPE within manufacturing areas and warehouses.</li><li>Create processes throughout the facility to improve and maintain service building/packing/shipping (this will require associate to be able to communicate effectively to Management and APLs</li><li>Work independently to drive key performance indicators including customer scorecard metrics and adherence to process.</li><li>Coordinate site-to-site material logistics to ensure materials are available in advance to support the Production Schedule.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and part drawings to validate correct parts are being packed for service shipments.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Safety, Health and Physical
