You have worked with the EU institutions and the EU political system and processes, and feel comfortable navigating this environment.The policy areas you engage with will vary, but we currently expect this role to focus on energy, climate, and biodiversity issues. Experience of working on energy-related issues is therefore desirable, though not essential.Your working language will be English, in which you should have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Additional language skills are desirable, though not essential. In addition to your experience, we place a high emphasis on your personal qualities. Since you will be following the progress and development of your portfolios, you must be able to learn complex topics quickly and translate them into accessible content, both verbally and in writing.You are able to connect and communicate with people in different roles and with diverse backgrounds.
