If you’re passionate about sustainable design, cutting-edge HVAC systems, and want to help shape the future of high-performance buildings, we want to hear from you. Why Join Us?<ul><li>Leadership role with autonomy — Build and lead your own team, with support from the executive level and peers.</li><li>Work that matters — Design systems for complex, high-impact infrastructure in a way that will conserve energy resources.</li><li>Growth and visibility — Drive strategy, win major work, and grow with us.</li><li>Collaboration — Partner with leading technical experts and business strategists across architecture and engineering disciplines.</li><li>Innovation — Help deliver projects that focus on utilizing AI for efficiency.               electrification, carbon reduction, and energy performance.</li></ul> What You’ll Do:<ul><li>Lead and manage AECOM’s building engineering operations in Boston, with an emphasis on team growth and performance.</li><li>Oversee and grow the Mechanical (HVAC) department, including mentoring staff and managing project delivery.</li><li>Develop and execute a strategy to add electrical and plumbing engineering staff to build a thriving local MEP team.</li><li>Drive major project pursuits — both stand-alone MEP/FP work and as part of larger multi-discipline teams.</li><li>Collaborate with other AECOM offices and business lines to optimize project staffing and delivery.</li><li>Oversee HVAC design across a range of project sizes and complexities.</li><li>Act as technical leader and quality reviewer, ensuring consistent, high-caliber output.</li><li>Serve as design manager on complex projects with significant engineering scope working closely with project managers to deliver high quality documents.</li><li>Lead interdisciplinary coordination/quality reviews and ensure engineering standards are met.</li><li>Guide team members in their work, assigning tasks and supporting their professional development.</li><li>Manage forecasting, resource planning, and staff performance, including goal-setting and annual reviews for mechanical department. Assist the electrical department manager to do the same.</li><li>Represent AECOM to clients, participate in interviews, and help craft winning proposals.</li><li>Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in high-performance mechanical design.</li></ul>
