We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</div>What you’ll do<ul><li>Program and operate CMMs using CALYPSO and GearPro software to create measurement routines</li><li>Interpret engineering drawings and translate them into CMM programs and inspection plans</li><li>Perform inspections of parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with design tolerances and specifications</li><li>Perform CMM data validation with hard gauging</li><li>Record and maintain accurate inspection data and reports to support statistical process analysis</li><li>Regularly inspect and maintain CMM machines to ensure accuracy and reliability</li><li>Ensure the CMM maintains calibration</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve CMM-related issues as they arise</li><li>Ensure traceability of measurements and maintain compliance with company quality management systems</li></ul> What you need<ul><li>7+ years’ experience in metrology with programming skills in CALYPSO, or Polyworks</li><li>Hands on experience using with CMMs, Laser Trackers, scanners or arms</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&amp;T)</li><li>Experience creating and approving first article inspections with working knowledge of the tools required for inspection</li><li>Ability to identify/recognize inspection errors and nonconformances and initiate corrective action</li><li>Experience with MES systems and creating inspection plans electronically</li><li>Experience working in a manufacturing environment in aerospace or other highly regulated environments</li><li>Ability to work within a team environment</li></ul>Bonus qualifications<ul><li>Associate degree or technical certification in Quality Assurance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field</li><li>Experience creating real time dashboards using JIRA or Sigma</li><li>Experience with developing/validating automated inspection equipment in a manufacturing environment including working with SQL languages </li><li>Experience with SAP</li></ul>At Archer, we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent with the skills and leadership needed to grow our business.
