We will be in the position to offer differentiated carbon-negative products at competitive prices, and thus our potential impact on emissions and society is enormous. We're seeking highly motivated team leaders and members who want to make a significant positive impact on climate change and are excited to work in a collaborative team setting. </p><h2><strong>Position Overview</strong></h2><p>We are seeking a hands-on Chemical/Electrochemical Technician who will be responsible for assisting us build, test, and optimize our CO2 conversion process. As a Chemical/Electrochemical Technician, you will work closely alongside chemists and engineers to directly help the company make scientific and product advancements.<strong><strong></strong></strong></p><h2><strong><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></strong></h2><ul><li>Prepare and execute electrochemical testing and fabrication, including cell construction and electrode coating</li><li>Prepare solutions, reagents, and material samples</li><li>Operate and maintain electrochemical testing equipment</li><li>Calibrate critical lab equipment, conduct routine testing, and maintain laboratory supplies</li><li>Perform a variety of laboratory experiments using both routine (GC, HPLC, chronoamperometry, chronopotentiometry) and special techniques and methods</li><li>Record, organize, and properly document procedures and results</li><li>Support scale-up activities and process optimization efforts</li><li>Comply with all safety and control standards</li><li>Communicate technical information and results to team members</li></ul><h2><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>Bachelor's or Associate's degree is preferred but not required</li><li>1+ years of experience working in an analytical or wet lab setting (preference for experience with cell or battery characterization)</li><li>Competent data analysis skills (Excel at minimum) </li><li>Experience handling hazardous materials</li><li>Able to work independently and under minimal supervision in a fast-paced, startup atmosphere with excellent attention to detail</li><li>Judgment and action skills required to solve commonly encountered problems</li><li>Possess a robust fundamental understanding of laboratory equipment and good laboratory practices</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple experiments simultaneously</li><li>Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner</li></ul><h2><strong>What We Offer</strong></h2><ul><li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Flexible PTO and parental leave policies </li><li>401K matching</li><li>Diverse and inclusive work environment</li><li>State-of-the-art R&amp;D facilities and equipment</li></ul><h2><strong>Join Our Mission</strong></h2><p>This is an exceptional opportunity to play a fundamental role in scaling breakthrough CO2 conversion technology that will help decarbonize aviation and chemical manufacturing.
