We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</div><h2>What you’ll do:</h2><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Design high voltage battery pack components from start to finish across multiple aircraft programs in both commercial and defense applications</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Collaborate with key stakeholders such as CAE engineers, quality, testing, supply chain, and manufacturing to ensure success of your designs and the product</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Provide hands-on prototyping, build, and root cause support throughout the entire design cycle</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Work closely with integration and certification teams to ensure the product meets all FAA certification requirements</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Push the boundaries of conventional battery design to meet the stringent design requirements of aerospace applications</li></ul><h2>What you need: </h2><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">3+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in high voltage battery design for automotive or aerospace</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Strong engineering fundamentals (structural design, materials, statics, dynamics, heat transfer, fluids, etc)</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Solid background in CAD (NX experience preferred), tolerance stack analysis, and 2D drafting with GD&amp;T </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Experience developing parts with various manufacturing processes in both prototype and mass production settings</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to use simplified tools, calculations, and CAE to quickly drive development</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Hands on prototype and build experience</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Exceptional communication skills across all mediums </li></ul>At Archer, we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent with the skills and leadership needed to grow our business.
