As a Senior Operations Manager, you will be pivotal in bringing our autonomous vehicle service to life in our new markets. This position focuses on managing the day-to-day operations of our L3 test vehicles and robotaxi fleet, ensuring exceptional mission success and service delivery while maintaining the highest safety standards.</span></div><br><br><h3>In this role, you will:</h3><ul><li>Lead, develop, and manage teams of Zoox and contingent workforce personnel responsible for Zoox’s test fleet and robotaxi service fleet.</li><li>Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize fleet performance by mastering operational workflows and performance metrics to eliminate waste and create value</li><li>Oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle deployments, maintenance tracking, and service coverage.</li><li>Drive operational excellence by being customer-focused and partnering with product and key stakeholders to create the ultimate rider experience for our customers and business partners</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of technology updates and service enhancements.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders and regulatory bodies.</li><li>Establish and monitor KPIs for service reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Plan, evaluate, and improve site operations in terms of quality, safety, and efficiency.</li><li>Deliver effective change leadership while regularly communicating performance trends and improvements to the organization</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelors Degree</li><li>8+ years leading the business side of relevant large-scale operations</li><li>3+ years of managing large teams of FTEs and contingent labor</li><li>Management of continuous safety standards and improvement initiatives</li><li>Experience in change management processes &amp; managing large amounts of data</li><li>Ability to work on-site at your market’s facilities</li><li>Ability to travel when necessary</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Master's degree in a relevant discipline (Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Program Management, etc.)</li><li>5+ years working in an NPI environment and cross-functionally with PMO or engineering organizations</li><li>Working with cross-functional teams on go-to-market initiatives</li><li>Experience in the autonomous vehicle, transportation dispatch, and emergency response industries</li><li>PMP certification, or equivalent.</li></ul><br>
