Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) Expert with 8–10 years of professional experience in the aviation sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in the planning, design, and implementation of AGL systems, ensuring compliance with international standards such as ICAO Annex 14, FAA, and airport authority regulations.  Roles &amp; Responsibilities <ul><li>Lead the planning, design, and specification of Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) systems, including runway, taxiway, apron, approach, stop-bar, guidance, and obstruction lighting. </li><li>Develop comprehensive AGL layout plans, circuiting, Constant Current Regulator (CCR) sizing, ducting, and pit layouts. </li><li>Ensure full compliance with ICAO Annex 14, FAA, and relevant airport authority standards. </li><li>Collaborate with airside civil, electrical, ATC/ATM, and airfield signage teams to ensure seamless integration of AGL systems with pavement works, visual aids, and operational requirements. </li><li>Coordinate with stakeholders to align AGL designs with overall airport development plans. </li><li>Review vendor submittals, interface drawings, and photometric performance data. </li><li>Provide technical inputs for the procurement of AGL fixtures, CCRs, and control systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications. </li><li>Provide technical support during airside construction activities, including installation supervision, testing, photometric calibration, and commissioning of AGL systems. </li><li>Ensure proper documentation and operational handover of AGL systems. </li><li>Ensure system reliability, redundancy, and safety, with a focus on compatibility with Airfield Lighting Control &amp; Monitoring Systems (ALCMS) and airport operational protocols. </li><li>Address technical challenges and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. </li></ul>
