This role is critical to ensuring financial integrity, supporting strategic initiatives, driving performance, ensure compliance with local regulations, corporate policies and partnering with business leaders to deliver results.   KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Working in accordance with prescribed safety procedures and regulations:Manager Finance activities <ul><li>Assist and support in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement close and reporting process including ensuring accuracy, timeliness and, completeness in accordance to GAAP.</li><li>Support and assist in monthly general ledger management, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals and journal entries</li><li>Support the team in implementing strong internal controls that are continuously tested and improved. </li><li>Ensure compliance with local regulations, statutory filings and oversee local GAAP converted financial reporting. </li><li>Assist with both internal and external audits and coordinate all direct and indirect tax compliance activities for the company</li><li>Assist the Director Controllership in Treasury activities as needed</li></ul> Business Partnering<ul><li>Prepare and present financial insights with dashboards and presentations explaining key areas, variances and other elements needing management attention</li><li>Prepare and maintain regular project financial reports, including monthly financial reporting to business leaders  with actuals, and variances </li><li>Ensure accurate setup, maintenance master data and GL records in the ERP system</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve project data issues withing ERP, ensuring integrity. </li><li>Support Ad hoc requests.  </li></ul><ul><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes, reporting and systems</li><li>Partner with FP &amp; A, and shared services teams to align business unit operations with group policies and objectives. </li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Finance, and/or Accounting</li><li>CPA designation or equivalent preferred</li><li>5+ years of accounting, external reporting and audit experience, preferred</li><li>Experience conducting accounting analysis under either IFRS or US GAAP, including researching and analyzing accounting issues to comply with technical accounting developments;</li><li>A results-oriented focus is essential, and able to work in a fast-paced changing environment;</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and communicate effectively across the company and externally at all levels;</li><li>Good management experience with ability to motivate and lead a team of accounting / external reporting resources would be an asset;</li><li>Sound judgment, attention to detail, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities;</li><li>Proficient using information technology tools such Microsoft Word and Excel;</li><li>Experience with MS Dynamics Business Central and Power BI be an asset;</li></ul> WHY Laurentis Energy Partners? Laurentis offers an exciting combination of challenging opportunities and career diversity in a work environment where safety is a fundamental value.
