AECOM is looking for an Air Quality Technician for an existing position in Sault Ste Marie, ON. This job provides opportunities for involvement with Ambient Air Monitoring, Air Pollution Control, Industrial Ventilation &amp; Odour Control System projects. The role will include the following responsibilities. Ambient Monitoring Network Support<ul><li>Installation, operation and decommissioning of ambient air monitoring equipment.</li><li>Perform ambient air sampling.</li><li>Setting up samples and retrieving samples for laboratory analysis on regular basis.</li><li>Coordination with equipment suppliers and laboratories.</li><li>Field activities for equipment monitoring, service and maintenance</li><li>Routine operations including trouble shooting, equipment calibration and data collection.</li><li>Perform the daily, weekly, monthly equipment calibrations</li><li>Perform regular investigations and log observations of the sampling equipment in station log book</li></ul>General<ul><li>Understanding of various Industrial and Chemical sector processes.</li><li>Knowledge of air emissions from multiple sources.</li><li>Familiarity with air pollution control systems and concepts.</li><li>Preparation of technical documents and reports.</li><li>Work with internal teams and external clients.</li><li>Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.</li><li>Collects and enters data and applies technical principles and theories.</li><li>Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.</li></ul>
