The Project Engineering Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and guiding the project engineering team to deliver high-quality customer projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves managing the technical execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that engineering deliverables meet company standards. The Project Engineering Team Lead will serve as both a technical expert and a leadership figure, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the Customer Solutions Delivery department. Objective 1 – Leadership and Team Management <ul><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary team of engineers. </li><li>Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on skills and project requirements. </li><li>Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring effective communication, knowledge sharing, and professional growth. </li></ul>Objective 2 – Technical Project Management <ul><li>Oversee multiple customer engineering projects from concept through completion. </li><li>Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. </li><li>Track project performance, ensuring adherence to goals, schedules, and quality &amp; compliance standards. </li><li>Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. </li><li>Communicate project updates, progress, and challenges to senior leadership and stakeholders. </li></ul>Objective 3 – Technical Guidance <ul><li>Provide technical direction and support for project teams. </li><li>Ensure engineering solutions meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. </li><li>Conduct design reviews, technical analyses, risk assessments and feasibility studies to guide the team toward innovative solutions. </li><li>Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating best practices into project execution.  </li></ul>Objective 4 – Stakeholder Management <ul><li>Collaborate with other departments (e.g., R&amp;D, production, procurement, quality) to ensure smooth project execution. </li><li>Liaise with external clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure that engineering deliverables align with contractual requirements and expectations. </li><li>Resolve any engineering issues that arise during the project lifecycle. </li></ul>
