Our team specializes in providing energy rating and consulting services to improve the performance of residential and commercial buildings.  We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Energy Rater Intern for the Summer of 2026. This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn and contribute to various aspects of energy rating, HVAC design, and sustainable construction practices. <h3> Key Responsibilities: </h3><ul><li>Introduction to energy modeling and application in multifamily residential projects.</li><li>Utilize Bluebeam for dimensioning and assist in creating accurate project drawings.</li><li>Conduct dimensioning take-offs and create context maps for projects.</li><li>Gain an understanding of HVAC design reports and their implications on energy efficiency.</li><li>Set up testing tables and assist in energy modeling for projects.</li><li>Learn about the construction life cycle and the start-to-finish project process.</li><li>Update project trackers with tested values obtained from on-site visits.</li><li>Manage project folders and checklists to ensure comprehensive documentation.</li><li>Participate in OSHA 10 training to ensure a safe working environment.</li><li>Provide support for various green building program document submissions.</li><li>Shadow Energy Raters during on-site inspections.</li></ul><ul><li>Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as energy engineering, sustainability, or a related discipline.</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills.</li><li>Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Eagerness to learn and apply knowledge in a practical setting. </li></ul>Click Apply to submit your resume and a cover letter explaining your interest in the Energy Rater Intern position.   Application deadline for Summer 2026 is May 1, 2026.
