The person in this position is responsible for programming and operating a CNC Machine.  The CNC Programmer - Operator is an integral part of the DMH-USA operation having a hand in full-cycle production. Their duties include studying blueprints and creating the design, cutting plastics and manipulating it to build the project, and performing regular maintenance on their machinery. <ul><li>Fabricate items such as machine parts and tools.</li><li>Set up CNC lathes according to blueprint specifications.</li><li>Select and align holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.</li><li>Conduct quality assurance checks</li><li>Make machine adjustments and modify program speeds</li><li>Adhere to all ISO standards and participate in regular ISO audits. </li><li>Works with the CNC Supervisor to organize work in the production area to meet current workloads, ensuring all orders are completed accurately.</li><li>Adheres to all safety rules and guidelines.</li><li>Supports lean manufacturing through 5S methodology: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree</li><li>Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position; lift up to 50 pounds and standing for 4 or more hours at a time</li><li>Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and consistently changing environment</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.</li><li> Basic English reading and speaking skills required to understand work instructions and safety information</li><li>2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or distribution center, preferred.  </li><li>1 or more years of experience as a CNC Operator, preferred. </li><li>Hourly Rate: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour (final offer within this range based on skills, experience, and internal equity)</li></ul> Communication &amp; Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues.
