To do this, you will need to: </li><ul><li>Manage stakeholders and build relationships with clients directly.</li><li>Develop the strategy and architecture required to meet the needs of internal teams and clients.</li><li>Identify improvement opportunities for ways of working and enable teams to work efficiently while improving the quality of Kaluza’s products.</li><li>Collaborate with a range of internal peers including Delivery, Product, Customer Success, Commercial and Engineering.</li></ul><li>You will manage a cross functional team of Quality and Developer Engineers. Engineering Managers contribute to both the technical and product vision of their teams, making sure that their products are successful.</li><li>Helping teams to make technical decisions that align with Kaluza’s business objectives.</li></ul>About You Ideally you’ll:<ul><li>Have significant experience in an Engineering Management position, developing high performing cross functional teams.</li><li>Have a strong technology background, ideally in scalable distributed applications, and an excellent understanding of a broad set of modern technologies.</li><li>Have experience delivering test tools and frameworks, including test data management. </li><li>Have a track record of delivering high-quality, high-impact software effectively.</li><li>Be able to communicate and present effectively to clients, giving them confidence in our approach and progress.</li><li>Be ready to take the next step in your Engineering Management journey!</li></ul>What will set you apart <ul><li>The ideal candidate would have a background in client-facing roles, including solution engineering, presales or consulting, with a proven ability to translate complex client needs into effective technical solutions.</li><li>Experience in Quality disciplines - either test automation, QA engineering or SDET.</li><li>Experience in any of the energy or billing domains would be a benefit - but are not required.</li><li>Experience transforming software engineering teams and practices through the use of AI, ML and/or LLMs or a keen interest in emerging technologies is desirable.</li></ul>Other RequirementsKaluza is a global business, as a result the person in this role will be required to collaborate with teams in APAC.
