Our Chief of Staff will help lead and scale our organization as we commercialize large-scale industrial energy storage projects across multiple markets. This is a high-trust, high-impact role that sits at the center of the company, acting as a force multiplier for the CEO by driving focus, alignment, and disciplined execution across the business.&nbsp; The Chief of Staff will operate across commercial strategy, project development, finance, engineering, and delivery—connecting dots, creating operating rhythm, and ensuring the company stays focused on what matters most. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments, understands capital-intensive energy projects, has done deep technical work on decarbonization, and can move fluidly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.&nbsp;We are also hoping for this role to be a cultural multiplier - identifying opportunities for cultural improvement and building strong, healthy relationships internally and externally.Some helpful notes on the role scope: <ul><li>While we are looking for an experienced strategist, this role will also manage important but slightly annoying corporate processes (company All Hands, investor relations, things like international conference planning, etc). Not the most mentally challenging of the tasks, but critical to the fabric and rhythm of the executive and Commercial teams. The ideal candidate either enjoys this stuff, or perhaps doesn't but attacks it nonetheless. </li></ul><ul><li>Ideally this person is the central point of coordination and manager for all fund raising activities (Series B++++, Series C, beyond), including coordination/quality control/production of materials, data room management, investor Q&amp;A management, etc.</li></ul><ul><li> This person will maintain a company-wide focus and will ideally catch all kinds of corporate stuff that falls through the cracks due to gaps in the organization or novel tasks</li><li>This role will be located either at our headquarters here in Alameda or in Madrid, Spain. Don't get too excited about the living in Spain part :): while we do have an office in Madrid, you would need to have the proper EU work visas to be located there.
