Future.</span></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">We’re looking for an Accountant to help us run a slick &amp; efficient support function in Financial Control for our electric vehicle leasing business. </span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">You will be working within the accounting team and wider finance team to assist with day-to-day financial management and importantly in the identification and implementation of process improvements. </span></div><div> </div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">Your role will include the preparation of monthly reconciliations for Octopus EV, reporting on variances as required and working with the team, the wider company and funders to rectify variances.</span></div><div> </div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">You will be working closely with the business to assist with day-to-day financial management and identifying any commercial risks or opportunities to improve the business’ financial controls and internal processes. </span></div><div> </div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">We need someone that has a great eye for detail, is self-driven to own accounts and processes, is able to automate processes using large data sets and assist with other improvements as the business grows.</span></div><br><br><h3>What you'll do</h3><ul><li>Performance of reconciliations and timely resolution of highlighted variances </li><li>Month end reporting, including journals and financial analysis</li><li>Tracking and reporting on vehicles purchased on a weekly basis, with business stakeholder </li><li>Work closely with our Finance Operations team to resolve reconciliation issues</li><li>Manage creditor and debtor ledgers and deal with any queries regarding payments or receipts</li><li>Assist with audit and tax queries Identify and drive the implementation of new processes and process improvements</li></ul><h3>What you'll need</h3><ul><li>Experience working in a Finance team</li><li>Experience using accounting software and data tools</li><li>Qualified Accountant preferred (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)</li><li>Minimum 3 years experience in finance or accounting</li><li>Advanced Excel skills</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organisational skills</li><li>Proactive attitude towards your work</li><li>Thrives in a scale-up, high-transaction environment with evolving needs</li><div> </div><li>Experience with the following would be beneficial but not essential: Experience with Netsuite accounting package, Financial services experience</li></ul><h3>Why else you'll love it here </h3><ul><li>💰 Wondering what the salary for this role is?
