SUPO, where required)</li></ul>Why this role matters:As a Supply Chain Specialist (Mechanics &amp; Structures), you’ll ensure critical satellite components are delivered on time and to specification.You will play a key role in enabling ICEYE’s satellite production by securing reliable supply of mechanical and structural components. We have more than 900 employees, united by a shared vision: improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.Your day-to-day responsibilities<ul><li>Ensure timely procurement and delivery of Satellite components</li><li>Procurement execution and strategic sourcing of both custom-made mech parts and off-the-shelves products</li><li>Work closely with technical experts to ensure highest quality and reliability of deliverables</li><li>Maintain communication with vendors (supplier follow up)  relating to changes of orders / drawings / item specs</li><li>Supplier negotiation on pricing, freight, lead time, shortage recovery etc.</li><li>Manage quality issues clearly with an efficient, practical, solution-oriented approach</li><li>Accountable for mitigating in all foreseeable and unforeseeable supply risks </li></ul>RequirementsWhat we’re looking forMust haves:<ul><li>A minimum 3-5 years of experience working in Supply Chain / Procurement within Aerospace, Engineering or industrial manufacturing</li><li>Solid experience with Mech parts (metal plates, sheets, structures etc.) in terms of production, manufacturing processes, procurement and supplier management</li><li>Experience in vendor qualification, vendor auditing and vendor onboarding</li><li>Experience with COTS and Build to Print parts such as CNC milling, lathe etc.</li><li>Reading and interpreting technical documents</li></ul>Nice to haves:<ul><li>Previous experience in Satellite engineering, Aerospace or Aviation industry</li><li>Quality management standards and certifications (ISO 9001 etc.)</li><li>Demonstrated proven ability in mitigating delay risk, price escalation and logistics challenges</li><li>Experience working in fast-pace startup environment would be beneficial</li><li>Technical understanding of metallurgy, welding and complex manufacturing processes</li><li>Proficiency with using ERP systems (namely Netsuite Oracle)</li></ul>Application Process<ol><li>Interview with Talent Acquisition</li><li>Interview with the Hiring Manager</li><li>On site interview with team members and Hiring Manager</li><li>Interview with Department Director </li></ol>Working at ICEYEAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
