Overview The Construction Site Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and executing construction activities for international large-scale solar PV EPC projects. This position ensures full compliance with technical specifications, contractual obligations, safety standards, and quality requirements. The role combines strategic project oversight with hands-on technical coordination, ensuring successful delivery from construction planning to commissioning and handover. Your mission <ul><li>Accountable for the on-site execution of PV EPC projects from mobilization through commissioning, energization, and final handover</li><li>Lead and coordinate all daily construction activities in alignment with the project schedule and contractual milestones</li><li>Oversee, coordinate and manage the performance of internal teams, subcontractors, site engineers, supervisors, and technical personnel to ensure efficient execution of works</li><li>Provide technical guidance and leadership to project managers and site teams; develop, mentor, and evaluate staff while assigning responsibilities to ensure high performance</li><li>Ensure full compliance with company procedures, corporate Quality Assurance policies, HSE standards, legal/statutory requirements, site safety requirements,  environmental legislation and industry best practices</li><li>Ensure all works are executed in accordance with technical specifications, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and quality standards, including conducting inspections and overseeing corrective actions where required</li><li>Maintain accurate daily records of progress, completed quantities, outstanding works, and construction performance</li><li>Provide structured daily and weekly reports on construction progress, risks, delays, resource requirements, and procurement/logistics updates </li><li>Report directly to the Head of Projects and Project Manager</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely project documentation to support payment milestones, claims management, audits, and contractual compliance</li><li>Support and coordinate commissioning and testing activities to ensure full readiness for energisation and project handover</li><li>Facilitate effective communication and coordination between all internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Identify opportunities to optimize construction methods, workflows, and site processes, and implement approved improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk</li><li>Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of Greencells construction standards and best practices</li></ul> Your profile <ul><li>Engineering degree (civil, electrical, mechanical) or equivalent relevant qualification</li><li>Minimum 3 years of site management experience in electrical infrastructure projects with overall site responsibility</li><li>Strong understanding of construction methodologies, testing/commissioning, quality control, and HSE regulations</li><li>Experience with project controls, scheduling tools (MS Project, MS Planner), MS Office, and document control systems</li><li>Knowledge of contract management and standard contract forms</li><li>Demonstrable experience of construction cost, schedule, risk, technical and quality management</li><li>Excellent communication skills across all levels (internal and external)</li><li>Leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Organized, hands-on, detail-oriented, and delivery-focused</li><li>Commercial awareness and ability to work autonomously</li><li>Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and on budget</li><li>Willingness to travel to and between the different project sites</li><li>Fluency in English is mandatory, German and/ or other European languages are seen as an advantage</li></ul> What we offer <ul><li>Independent work in a committed team</li><li>Work in a growing, international company with a start-up mentality</li><li>Open and friendly working atmosphere</li><li>Flexitime model with core working hours</li></ul>
